The forwards were oven throughout though thrir form was uot impressive. The Canterbury backs, particularly the inside tnen. combined better. Two of the tries > fame from perfect handling of the ball . at high speed. The tackling by neither aide was impressive. ' Canterbury led at half-time by 10 points ! loft. I For the winners Bayden. Edmnndson, ! Hall and Low (2) scored. Hall and Shaw | waling. For the losers. Wiren (2), Kiggs and Mackenzie got over the line.
