THE ANNUAL MEETING. Kelson, Christchurch, Timaru, and Dunedin. Od interest started in other places. Mrs. Ta.hu Rhodes, secretary Hiss Foster; Dunedin, Mrs. Crarnnlt Jones, secretary Mi3s Carpenter; Timaru Divi_oi_l Coram., Mrs. Herbert Elworthy; Hastings divisional comm, Miss Drenhan. District comm. in office: Dunedin, Miss Bejnolds; Auckland, Mrs. Patterson, Mrs. Uiher, Miss Averill. At each place associations have been formed with executives to manage the affairs of the province. IThe presidents of these executives are as follow.:—Wellington, Lady Jellicoe; Nelson, Mrs. Tillyard; Canterbury, Mrs. J. F. Stoflholme, and Dunedin, Lady Ferguson. He organisation is affiliated with 35 other jodeties, and the Guides are represented on tie Women's Advisory Council of the League of Nations. The movement has.now spread in a form known as The Extension Lone ''Glides,- to asylums, reformatories, industrial homes, to hospitals and cripple homes, bringing new life and interest into the heart of the lonely and less fortunate girls.
