Mr. and Mrs. James Nolan, of Gisborne, return to their home toAvn this evening. Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Barker and Miss Barker, of Geraldine, return South tonight. Mr. and Airs. A. Adams were jiassengers by the Vancouver steamer this afternoon. Mr. G. AThite, president of the Auckland Motor Trade Association, left for the South last night. Sir Robert and Lady Stout, who arrived by the Main Trunk express this morning, are staying at Cargen. Mr. W. S. Glenn, M.P. for Rangitikei. and Mrs. Glenn leaA-e Auckland by the South-bound express to-night. Mr. G. Hansford, of Wellington, is an intending passenger by the Main Trunk express to-night.. Among the guests at Cargen arc Mr. and Mrs. Beaton. Mr. and Mrs. L. Hood (Melbourne), and Mr: and Mrs. Somerset (Sydney) • Brigadier-General J. O. Travers, of London, and Mr. Travers, jun., were aboard the Makura, Avhick left for Vancouver this afternoon.
