A petty officer of the Royal Navy, ' attracted by the screams of a woman named Isabel Cohen at the man-o'-war steps, found her and her two children, Jean (aged three years) and Manuel (eight months), in the harbour, He tjumped in and brought them to shore, where he found the boy was dead. | The girl was removed to hospital, where she died. !
