At the annual meeting of the New Zealand Hockey Association it was decided to suspend the shield rules in favour of a tourament to be held at C'hristchurch under the management of the Canterbury Hockey Association, providing tbat more than four entries are received. One of the Auckland delegates j (Mr. Ellijet) has been appointed to a seat on the executive of the New Zealand Hockey Association. The Wairarapa Association suggest that tournaments be held in connection with the Norden Cup competition.
