-2. Several subnrban properties were sold by ' anetinii at Samuel Vaile and Sons' rooms. Queen Street, yesterday afternoon. Bidding was fair throughout. A five-roomed Semi-: bungalow residence and freehold section, 40ft by 11 Oft, in Firth Street, Orey Lynn, realised £935. A villa of seven rooms, with a half-acre section, in Ru.-iwai Road, near Penrose station, was bouhjrt in by the mort- -*< gagee for £1015. A small farm, of about 2S acres, at I'nkekohe East, with a four-, roomed house on it. was sold for £ 1710.' Several sections offered in Peary Road, and Mount Eden Koatl. being part of the Edenholm Estate, failed to reach the reserve' price and were withdrawn. The New Zealand Loan aria Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., report the sale by pnblic - auction yesterday afternoon of 111 acres' * near Mercer, for £ GSO, the purchaser being Mr. Foster.
