I McD__\TTT'S REPLY TO HANNAN. | (By Association.) i DARGAVILLE, this day. ' Interviewed to-day and asked if they had anything to say in connection with Hannan's remarks re races at Auckland and his reply to the Mayor's telegram asking him to compete at Dargaville. George Ceruti, assistant secretary of the New South Wales League of Scullers, stated that he had cabled to the league: "Everything here satisfactory. All conditions lor Australasian championship complied with under rules laid down by league." A reply was received from Mr. Wolfe (secretary of the league) asking that two copies of conditions controlling the championship be forwarded to the Leagues Coun cil ■ for signature. This was done, ana within a fortnight affiliation will be complete. Regarding Hannan, he said he had nothing to add to his last statement. McDevitt said he 'did not intend to reply to Hannan. Should he (McDevitt) win the championship, he would be prepared to accept a challenge from anyone and from anywhere, but Hannan would find it necessary this time to affix his signature to properly drawn-up legal articles before he (McDevitt) would have any more to do with him
