With the exception of Captain Sarto all went to the post for the Century' Hurdle Race. En Route was flrst choice, about £100 better supported than Eerie, with Omahu. Santiago, and Trlncc Uufus next In demand, while Antler was nearly the outsider of the Held. Prince Rufus was the first to show out, with Tin Route and Peter Amans next. Going past the stand lin Route was In front, with iPrlnee Kufus, •First Born, Omahu, Eerie, Vagabond, .Antler, iPetcr Amans and Santiago following In that order. Peter Ainans was the pilot before the back strctcn was reached, with Eerie, Prince Rufus, First Born, En Route and Omahu racing ns named. -Peter Amans continued In charge past the stand the last time, with Antler, En Route, First Born, Prince Rufus and Omabu handy. Eerie then fell, and brought down Penury Rose. Peter Amans held his position till crossing the top, where Prince Rufus headed him, with Antler, 'En Route First Born and Omahu next. Prince Rufus was first over tbe last fence, ana stalling off challenges by Antler and Omahu won by two lengths from Antler, who beat Omahu ay a length, then followed Kirst Born, Santiago, En Route, Peter Amans aud Vagabond. A Good Mare. Cold Steel was the chief fancy for the Connolly Handicap, with the bracket, _Jonnetter and Trespass, .Marquetenr, Sir Burncss. stork. -Peter Maxwell. The field bunched up turning for nome, and Bonnet ter, who had come right round the outside, got In front nt the distance and heat Diamond Ring by half a length, with Maro.ueteur a length and a-half away, third. Then came Santonlo. Peter Maxwell, Crucclle, Trespass and Velocirorm, Battle Knight being last. Favourite Well Beaten. All started In the Borough Handicap, Mlrensonta being flrst choice, and he was heavily supported, heing about fIOO better backed than Gienross, with Civility, Hipo, Lady Fingers, Martlau Miss aud Ecuador backed as named. Lady Fingers was flrst out. with 'Soliform, __v.-_.ke and Ecuador next. The last named tuen ran to the front, and had as his nearest attendants Lady Fingers, Comical; Soliforin and Mireusouta. When straightened up for home Civility joined Eucador, and going on won by a head, with Alarle six lengths away, third.
