MISSING CATTLE.

LUDWIG AGAIN CHARGED. ! STEERS STOLEN FROM WAIUKU. The disappearance of five steers from a road used for grazing in the vicinity of the farm at Aka Aka, near Waiuku, in September, 1922, waa responsible for tbe appearance in the Supreme Court to-day of Clyde Powell Ludwig, who was earlier in the week found guilty of horse stealing. To-day Ludwig was charged with cattle stealing, or, alternatively, receiving stolen cattle. The case for tbe Crown was that in October la3t Ludwig sold one of the stolen steers with some other cattle to a butcher at Otorohanga. This beast was identified by tie owner by its earmark.
