ITALY AND RUSSIA.
MOST CORDIAL RELATIONS.
IMPERSONATION OF FOFOFF.
MUSSOLINI SMILES AT RYKOFF
(By Cable.—Press Association.—Copyright.!
(Received 12.30 p.m.) LONDON, May 14. The Rome correspondent of the "Times" says that the relations between Rome and Moscow were never so cordial as now. From various sources comes confirmation of the rumoirr that Rykoff recently visited Rome and had conversations with Signor Benito Mussolini.
It is understood that he arrived in Italy from Vienna, and the Italian Government is said to have facilitated his passage at the frontier, where Rykoff presented a passport bearing the name of the engineer Popoff in order to avoid recognition. He did not even visit the Russian Embassy, but stayed at a private hotel for two days, during which he had meetings with Mussolini. —"Times."
