The Tjlimaroa berthed at the Queen's whan' at 3.45 p.m. yesterday to disembark ■her passengers and discharge mails and cargo from Sydney. She is to sail on the letum voyage at 11 a.m. to-morrow.

The Truro City sailed early to-day for Brisbane. The Navua is expected to leave Dunedln to-day for Auckland, via ports. The Corinna left Wellington at 3.30 p.m. yesterday for Pieton and Onehunga. The Kaiapoi is scheduled to leave Aucfcland to-inorrowl for Tauranga. The Wauaka is expected to leave Bluff today for Auckland, via ports. The Atua sails at S p.m. to-day for Napier, Wellington and Dunediu. The Ciry of Rinnlnghnm sails at 4 p.m. to-day lor Napier aud Southern ports. TOFUA IN PORT. The Island steamer Tofua arrived at Auckland this morning from Suva, and I berthed at the Queen's wharf. Henderson and Maefarlane advise that the Hollywood is to sail from San , Francisco on June 11 for Auckland, Wellington, Melbourne and Sydney. She will be followed by the Las Vegas, which, under her revised schedule, clears 'Frisco on July 12 for Auckland, Lyttelton, Dunedin. unci Australian ports. The' West Cabokin is to sail from San Fraucisco on August 13 for Auckland, Wellington and Australian ports. SPINNER AND CHALLENGER. The Canadian Challenger, which sailed from Auckland at 7 a jn. on May '•>• arrived at Brisbane yesterday to continue discbarge of cargo from Atlantic coast ports. She will come to New Zealand in June to load lor New York, Boston, and Montreal. The Canadian Spinner was expected to leave Adelaide last night for Dunedin. She will be due at Auckland at the end oC the month to complete cargo for New York, Boston and Montreal. KAKAPO RETURNED. After an absence of five weeks from Auckland the Union freighter Kakapo (Captaiu T. H. Bowling) arrived back this morning with a cargo of guano from Walpole Island, and berthed at the Queen's wharf. The Kakapo left Auckland on April 10. arrived at Noumea on the loth, having experienced tine weather, and loaded a small quantity of stores for Walpole Island. She left Noumea on the 17th, and arrived at Walpole Island on the 18th. Cargo operations were commenced in the afternoon, but heavy weather the following morning ! interrupted work for half a day. After another afternoon's work the Kakapo was again idle, owing to strong southerly winds and a heavy swell ou the 20th. Cargo was loaded all day on the 21st, but on the 22nd the steamer had In cast off moorings *and put to sea, returning t'uo next nwrnin; for another full day's loading. For tlie five succeeding days it was too rough to work the surf boats, and on the 28th the steamer cast off her stern moorlnss and swung to the buoy for two days. On the 30th she was again moored aft, but it was too rough to resume loading for a week. Owing to strong south-east winds on the 4th and oth the vessel was compelled again to swing to the buoy, but resumed loading on the Oth and completed on the Oth. She cleared at 6.d0 p.m. for Auckland with 2100 tons of guano, meeting with strong south-east winds and a heavy south-west swell until arriving in the lee of the land yesterday morning. The steamer will leave here tomorrow or Saturday for New Plymouth thence proceeding to Greymouth.
