GIPSY PAT SMITH.
MISSION IN TABERNACLE.
Captain Gipsy Pat Smith lias undoubted- captured the interest and support of many of the Anckland?rs who have heard him. Tim united and interdenominational campaign which he is conducting is now in its second week, and each week night the Baptist Tabernacle has been crowded to overflowing, the building proving too small to accommodate the many who have come for the first time.
Vigorous singing, ably conducted by the preacher, who often sings alone, is a prominent feature of the services, and such choruses as "Be Like Jesus" are taken up with a great swing. The missioner preaches with a unique power, and the messages delivered from night to night are followed with desp inferest. Xext week the campaign will be transferred to the Town Hall, while plans are being made for central mid-day meetings for business men and women.
