Speaking of the discovery of the skeleton underneath the Bank of New Zealand building in Queen Street recently, Sir Edwin Mitcheison informed a "Star" reporter to-day that he remembered the disappearance of the man named Hamilton mentioned in our issue 3f yesterday. The man disappeared from m hotel on the site where the bank now stands, and it was thought at that time (about 1554) that his body had. been thrown down a well at the rear, murder teing suspected.
