■ —I The Governor-General, Lord JellicOe, accompanied by Commander Dove, A.D-C-. left Auckland for Wellington by the midday express yesterday. His Excellency originally intended travelling by the evening train but, actios: on advice received from the Government, his plans were changed and he left by the midday express. Lord Jellicoe trill welcome the British Empire naval squadron which is expected to arrive at Wellington on Thursday. Lady Jellicoe remains iv residence at Auckland.
