The' men, however, decided tliat His Highness would not suffer from the . trouble and they manned the Royal train rigb,t through. It was midnight on April 27th, 1020, that the strike began, and oii that occasion it was the .Ehginedriv'ers . Association .'that brought matters to a head.' Next;day the A.S.R.S. came out in sympathy. Mr. Massey lost no time in . getting into conference with the discontented men.- and the matter was fixed up very, quickly, the train ser. vice being resumed on May 2. ' !
