A PROVINCIAL ..CHOP. The Selwvn Athletic Club was favoured by fine weather for its fourth annual sports meeting, held at Mangatapu (Selwyn siding, Rotorua line) on Thursday. Consequently the attendance was large, and big entries and keen contests resumed In an enjoyable day's outing. In all some -260 was distributed in prize money. Tbe £100 chop, 15----inch, Btanding, was won by G. Parkes and M. J. Marriner (dead heat), with C. W. Dwyer third.
