PROHIBITION IN AMERICA.
BRITISH LINER SEIZED. OFFICERS AND MEN ARRESTED. NEW YORK, March 13. New York Federal agents seized the Royal Hail steamer Orduna (13,499 ton's), following the discovery of liquors and narcotics aboard valued at 10,000dol. The- Government immediately began forfeiture proceedings, officials regarding the ship as coming under the same category as a rum-runner caught within the 12-mile zone. This seizure is the first of its kind, and diplomatic negotiations arc considered certain. Eight of the crew of the Orduna, including two officers, were arrested. — (A. and N.Z. Cable.) yp
