The following resolution, unauiinously ! passed by the Association of Assistant I Masters, lias been forwarded to the i .Minister of Education: "That the Xew j Zealand Public Schools Assistant Mas- ! ters' Association strongly deprecates ! the action of the Minister of Education lin making any alteration in teacher*' salaries by l)i'der-in-Coiincil, instead of Iby it majority vote of members in l'arj liament assembled, unless where the i salary scheme has been adtiptcd by the { annual conference of the Xew Zealand Educational Institute. Failing proceI dure as above, this association feels that lit bus no other alternative except that ] of organising politically the teachers and their friends from the North Cape to the I Bluff, and it feels confident that this j can be done.''
