WAIUKU AUTUMN SHOW.
FACTORY BUTTER AWARDS. . The Waiuku Autumn Show was held in beautiful weather, and was well patronised by the public. Owing to the recent dry spell, the entries in some sections were a little lower than last year. The following Is the result of the class for best box of factory butter, taken from grading stores, tit for export:— I'lopio Co-op. Dairy Co., 90} points. 1; HZ Co-op. Dairy Co., Franktou Xo. 1, 94*, ■*'• Raglan Co-op. Dairy Co., 1)4. 3; N.Z. Co-op I'airv Co.. Taerata, 93J; N.Z. Co-op. Dairy Co.,'Frankton No. 2, 93*: Kaltaia Co-op. Dairy Co., 93}; Whangarei Co-op. Dairy Co.. 93*; N.Z. Co-op. Dairy Co., Tuakau, 93*; N.Z. Co-op. Dairy Co., Waltoa '.13: Itotorua Co-op. Dairy Co.. 1)3; Hiku-l-angi Co-op. Dairy Co., 93: N.Z. I p-op. Dairy Co., Waiuku, 02*; N.Z. Co-op. Dairy Co Clevedon, 02*: AVhangaroa Co.-op. Dalrv Co., 92*. This class "created great interest. The committee appreciates the strong support accorded this exhibit, entries being received from 14 factories, all over the Auckland rrovince. Mr A A. Thornton (judge), remarking on the exhibition, says "The whole exhibit is very pleasing, and of a very high oualitv; each one was taken at raudom from a parcel coming through the grading stores for export, which was taken to be shinned to Great Britain next week. The shows the high standard of New Zealand's dairy produce."
