ENGINEDRIVERS' DISPUTE.
BEFORE CONCILIATION COURT. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) WAIHI, Thursday. A sitting of the Concilia-Lion Council (Mr. P. Hally presiding) in connection with demands made by the South Auckland Enginedrivers. ' Winders. Motor men and Firemen's Union for increased wages, etc., was concluded this afternoon, the principal demand, that of wages, being referred to the Arbitration Court. Other minor matters were satisfactorily settled, the minincr companies were represented by Messrs. E. <;. Banks and A. W. Hopkins (Waihi Co.). ,1. E. Redpath (Oram! Junction), and the Union by Messrs. A. Hall (president), A. Ritchie (secretary), ami A. Parry. Mr. -I. Read (president of the Trades' and Labour Council) w as a | S o present on behalf of the Union.
