I PRICES STILL HIGHER. AVERAGE INCREASE TWOPENCE. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Thursday. At the final wool sale of the season prices showed an average advance of 2d per lb on those ruling at the February sale. All the big countries were represented. A heavier advance was shown in medium and low crossbreds, which constituted the bulk of the offeringBradford and the Continent were each buying suitable wools, French buyers showing preference for fine lambs' and good pieces. j Following are the advances: Fine half bred, A<l to Id; medium half bred. Id to lid; coarse half bred Id to lid; fine crossbred. Id to I.}d; medium crossbred, lAd to 2d; coarse crossbred, about 2d: low crossbred, about 2d; pieces, Id to Ud. The range of prices realised was as follows: Merino, 64-70, (50-04, super average 2(3|d, inferior 22 : } dto 2.3.j;d; fine half bred, 50-58, average 20d, 29 id; medium halfbred, 50-50, average 27d to 281 d, inferior 22d to 23d -, coarser halfbred, 48-50, average 21id to 23Jd.
