The winner of the Cadet Championship at the TreiitliaiM rifle meeting, K. H Perkins, of the Akarana Club, Auckland, has had a most remarkable scholastic career, in addition to having won honours, including the Northern Command Championship, in marksmanship. He left the Auckland Grammar School only last year, having won the Rawlings Scholarship at 1 1 years of age, and matriculated when he was fifteen.
