TARANAKI V. S. AUCKLAND. EASY WIN FOB TARANAKI. The Auckland Green was the scene of a great gathering of bowlers this uioruing, when the visiting teams from Taranaki and South Auckland met in a test game. Mr. S. C. t'oldieutt (president of the Auckland Clubl extentletl a hearty welcome to the visitors and expressed pleasure at the fact that the Auckland green had been chosen as one of the deciding grounds of the test. Mr. .1. W. Ilnrdley (president of the Auckland Centre) adtled his congratulations, referring to the happy relations that existed between South Auckland and the chief centre. He extended to all present an invitation to attend a social entertainment to be held in the Auckland pavilion to-night at eight o'clock. The greens were in splendid order and the bowling generally was of a high order. Taranaki went off with the lead, and when the game was half through had a lead of 2U points.
