STORE BLOWN OVER. POUSE STRUCK BY LIGHTNING. * HEAVY LOSSES OF STOCK. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WAIKOA (Hawke's Bay), this day. purine- the height of the recent storm Mr F M Maeardlc's residence at Whaiamahia. was struck by lightning, ~-hich caused the chimney to collapse and fall through the roof. The whole , ins j_ e of the house was deluged with rain and much damage was done. Large numbers of dead stock have keen "washed down in the river and strewn along the beach. Black's empty store, at Waikokowu, was blown over.
