OBITUARY.
MR. GEORGE OWLES. Mr. George Owles, whose death is reported from British East Africa as the result of a motor accident, was the well-known Otago Rugby wing tbree-quar-er of the seasons 1020 and 1021. when he represented his province on eleven occasions. He was one of the famous army team which won the King's. Cup after the armistice. He was for some years a member of the permanent artillery stationed at Wellington and Dunedin. He had good war service. MR. W. F. WATSON. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, this clay. The death is announced of Mr. Win. F. Watson, of the firm of H. Watson and Co. He was widely known in farming and stock circles in Canterbury.
