LEADER OF OPPOSITION.
MR. T. M. WILKORD'S RETURN. (By TeJeyrtpb—Specie! t» "Htnr.") WELLINGTON, this day. Mr. T. M. Wilford, Lender of the Opposition, returned to-day on the Marama from a visit to Japan and treaty ports, including Singapore. He was accompanied by Mrs. and Miss Wilford. He was more concerned about the condition of Mrs. Wilford's health than about political matters at the moment, for Mrs. Wilford underwent a serious operation in Sydney. .She is slowly recovering, and was able with assistance to walk off the steamer.
