OBITUARY.
MR J. H. MT/LDOON. A well-known resident of Auckland for the last 31 years, Mr. James Henry Muldoon, died this morning, aged 70 years, at his residence, Seymour Street, Ponsonby. Mr. Muldoon was born in the North of Ireland, and when a young man went to Liverpool. He came to Auckland 31 years ago, and for the last 27 years had carried on a land agent's business. Six weeks ago Mr. Muldoon suffered from a stroke, and he never rallied- He was a strong worker in the prohibition cause, and for many years a local preacher of the ' Methodist Church. He was also a trus- • tee of the Methodist Church, Dominion < P>oad. The interment takes place to- i morrow afternoon at Hillsboro' Ccme- ■< tery. Deceased is survived by his wife, t four daughters and two sons- « i OLD RESIDENT OF FIJI. i t ( Captain Wallace Wilson a resident « of Fiji for over half a centuary, died at s Auckland yesterday in the 71st year of ' his age. Deceased was born in London, 1 and came to Xew Zealand when a boy. 1 After living several years in Auckland ( he went to Fiji, and subsequently was i for many yeara Harbour-Master at ' Levuka. His'health failing, he came to Auckland recently and finished his days here. Deceased L? survived by his wife, i one son, Mr. J. Wilson of Sydney, and i a daughter Mrs. W. Caldwell", who lives i at Suva, Fiji. The interment took 1 place to-day at the cemetery Hillsboro. I
