SHOCKING SUICIDE.
MAN CUTS HIS THROAT. "OXE Or , THK KOTTERS." (Br Telegraph.—Pnjss Association.) CHRISTCHURCH. this day. The body of George Lancelot Blaekett. aged 38. was found lying on a bed in the Prince of Wales Hotel at 5.30 this morning with his throat cutrfrom ear to car, the windpipe being completely severed. A note, with the words. -'Good-bye. I'm one of the rotters," and a blood-stained razor were found on a dresser near the body. Deceased had been employed for two and a half years as caretakeT at Balmoral Plantations. North Canterbury, by the State Forestry Department. His wife is living in England.
