WELLINGTON WINS AGAIN.

CANTERBURY DEFEATED. BY FOUR WICKETS. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Wednesday. The Plunket Shield match Wellington v. Canterbury was concluded to-day in fine but dull weather. Canterbury continued their second innings, and the sixth, seventh, and eighth wickets made a good recovery. They carried the score from 63 to 173. Crawford played a useful innings for 33 runs., and Young was again not out with 19. Sandman gave a bright display for 37. The last two wickets failed to add to the total. Collins, who went on to bowl at the end, cleaned up the tail, securing three wickets for 5 runs. Wellington had now 91 to get to win. The first five wickets feil cheaply to McBeath and Patrick, who bowled splendidly. Holland and McGirr then made a stand, and passed Canterbury's total.
