The Christmas tournament of the Carlton Bowling Club was concluded yesterday afternoon. The semi-final was contested in the morning, when Wright (Onehunga) beat Garry (Ponsonby), the scores being 33—9. Notwithstanding the discrepancy in the scores, the game was very keenly contested, but Wright's team was clearly superior, taking the game in general.

The final was played before a large attendance in the afternoon, between Pilkington Hamilton) and Wright (Onehunga). Wright had to fight an uphill game, all the players in front of him being outplaj-cd. Wright's driving and the good bowling of the Hamilton men were the feature of the game.
