THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL.

The Governor-General, Lord Jellicoe, tailed the Iron Duke in the Victoria Cruising Club's harbour races this afternoon. His Excellency Avill leave for Cambridge on Tuesday morning, where he >vlil unveil the district war memorial and a memorial window in the Cambridge Anglican Church on the afternoon of the same day. He Avill be entertained by the Freemasons' Lodge during the evening. His Excellency will then proceed to Poukawa, Hawke's Bay, where he will be the guest of Mr. H. M. Campbell. He will present the prizes at the breaking up ceremonies of the lona College and Woodford House at Havelock North on the evenings of the 12th and 15th December respectively. Lord Jellicoe will unveil the war memorial at Taradale, and visit the Old Peoples Home at Parke Island on Sunday, December 16. Accompanied by the Hon. Myrtle and Hon. Norah Jellicoe, his Excellency Avill leave Hawke's Bay on Monday, December 17, and is expected to arrive in Auckland on the following Tuesday morning.
