A BABY STRANGLED.
TTERDICT OF WILFUL MURDER. BODY NOT IDENTIFIED. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, this day. A verdict of wilful murder bystrangulation was returned by the coroner in the inquest on the body of a newly-born female child found in a belt of gorse at Burnham on August 24. The body has not been identified. I Medical evidence showed that a line l of depression round the neck was caused iby a rag found tied tightly round the neck. Evidence was given that the I only clothing was a sheet from the bed, a woman's chemise, and a nightdress.
