' COST OF ENFORCEMENT. WASHINGTON, September 7. An appropriation of 10,000,000 dollars, an increase of 1,000,000 dollars on iast year's appropriation for Federal work in enforcing prohibition in 1924, is asked by the Commissioner for Enforcing Prohibition (Mr. Haynes).— (A. and N.Z.)
