OVERSEAS MIGRATION.

NEW ZEALAND ITINERARY. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) WELLINGTON, this day. Mr. Ilislop (Under Secretary of Internal Affairs) and Mr. Thomson (Under Secretary of Immigration) leave Wellington for Auckland to-day to meet the Overseas Immigration Mission arriving ! from Sydney. Members of the mission J will visit all parts of New Zealand, their j itinerary covering a period of five weeks. i They will probably tour the South Island i next week. A series of seven money prizes is offered by Mr. Henry Brett," for the best : essay on the League of Nations written by pupils, under sixteen years of age, attending any school. The essay must not exceed six hundred words in length. The Rev. W. G. Monckton wall act as , adjudicator. Essays must be sent in not later than the 17th instant. Tn the interests of peace the Mayor hae convened a public meeting of citizens to lie held in the Town Hall, on WedI nesday next, for the purpose of passing resolutions in support of the League of Nations, nt this crisis in its history. Finally on Saturday. tired out, the motorists reached Hamilton, where a rest for the night wa« made.
