ROAD TO TITIRANGI.

It was also decided to recommend the erection of a toll-gate to collect the reTenue necessary to cover interest and sinking fund. The approximate cost of the work was given as £12,000, and it was stated that a rate ol Id in the £ over the riding value would meet the interest and sinking fund. As about 90 per cent of tie traffic was from outside districts the toll-gate was suggested.
