HINUERA DAIRY COMPANY.
THE ANNUAL MEETING. (From Onr Own I'orrespondent.) MORRINSVILLE, Friday. A very satisfactory state of affairs was shown at the annual meeting of the Himiera Co-op. Dairy Company, Ltd., Mr. J. Cotter, chairman of directors, presiding. The annual report stated that the company had had a successful though necessarily short season. Commencing to manufacture only in midNovember, the company had closed its accounts* with a substantial surplus to distribute on the period's supply of butterfat in spite of missing the advantage of the manufacturing overrun from September 1 to mid-November, when the supply of cream was handled by another company, and also despite the fact that operations were commenced too late to secure the high market returns of the early spring months. The total butterfat paynint for the season wae l/5.73d. The number of directors was increased from seven to nine, and the following now comprise the directorate: Messrs. T. Corry, J. C. Pareon. (J. F. Seaward, ,T. Cotter, M. E. Gould, P. R. Hawke, H. Hopkins. H. C. Pond and J. K. West. Mr. T. -T. Ryan was elected auditor.
