MORE HOMES IH THE COITHIBT ANNUAL HOLIDAY SCHEME (By Telegraph.—Press Asaodatta.) WELLINGTON, this day.. At the New Zealand Farmers' Uafaa Conference to-day, the President, lit Pole on, moved: "That this conference » structs the Dominion executive to h> vestigate the recent advances in legal*tion in regard to housing, with a view to provision of mor* homes for country workers, and also to communicate whfc the provinces in order to obtain' retoamendations for improving the condition of farm workers and providing tin with a workable scheme for annual ail other holidays." Mr. Poison remarked that New Zμland farmers had in their farm wortei a very loyal set of men. He wanted to see, and was sure all farmers wanted to see, that the very best housing conditions were provided for workers cc. farms. Many of the farm worker* lid to put up with conditions which they ought not to have to submit, to. Bt also said steps should be taken to set that regular holidays were given, set by some farmers, but by all. Further consideration of the queitkm was deferred till a later period of tie sitting.
