The Canadian Constructor sailed from Montreal on July 29 for Auckland and Australian ports. On her return voyage to Sydney the Manuka Is to sail from tbe Queen's wharf at 11 a.m. to-morrow. She will be dne at Sydney on Tuesday next, and leaves there the following Friday for Wellington. KIMUTAKA REPORTED. En route to Southampton and London. the New Zealand Shipping Company's liner Rimntaka, which sailed from Auckland on July 0, arrived at the Panama Canal on July 30. The steamer will be due at Southampton about August 15, and leaves there on her next voyage on September 21. for Auckland. Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin and Nelson. PORT HUNTER TO-MORROW. The Farmers' Co-operative Auctioneering Company advise that the Port Hunter was to leave Glsborne at noon to-day for Auckland. She will be due here to-morrow evening, and will berth at the western side of the Queen's wharf to load butter, frozen meat and general cargo for London, also general cargo for New York and Boston. This is the steamer's final port, and she Is scheduled to clear early next week, via Panama. TAKAPCXA BEACH CABLE HUT. The Marine Department advise that a white painted concrete hut. immediately In front of which Is a triangular beacon on which is painted "Cable" In large lettere. has been erected cs the southern corner of the Strand. Takapuna Beach. Prom the foregoing triangular beacon two other double-triangle beacons have been erected, one being situated 037 degrees distant 300 feet the other being situated 108 degrees distant 378 ft. The distance separating the two double-triangle beacone Iβ 391 ft in a northerly and southerly direction. Ancchorlng vessels in the vicinity of the cable or beaching vessels within the area enclosed by the three beacons is prohibited.
