A letter ftnm the Referees' Association In appreciation of the services of the members of the St. John Ambulance was received and sent on to the society concerned. A further letter from the referees, drawing attention to the unsatisfactory compilation of the appointment hook, asked that definite allocations he made before the book was handed to tbe neferees' Association selector. The matter was referred to the Junior Management Committee. The New Zealand Council wrote re endeavouring to get football and spnrtu bodies on the same footing as Agricultural Societies, and It was decide* to reply that action lias already been taken.
