"DON'T USE THE LIGHT."
MAX'S LAST MESSAGE. FOUND DEAD NEAR GAS PIPE. A married man, Arnold David Ttylor, was found dead at his home, 32, Hμ Street. Mount Eden, about 11.30 ]** evening. The deceased's wife went eat in the evening with a daughter, leaving the two other children in bed. On her return Taylor was discovered lying go the floor near a gas pipe leading to i fireplace from which the gas heater IM been removed. A note written by the deceased was found and read as folium: "Don't use the light, good-bye." lit deceased, who wag 41 years of age, had been in bad health for a number of years. An inquest was opened befow Mr. J. E. Wilson, S.M., this afternoon.
