COOGEE TRAGEDY.
SEARCH FOR SECOND TRUNK. NO FURTHER LIGHT. (Received 10 a.m:) SYDNEY, this day. The police state that the trunk which •they discovered throws no light on the Coogee mystery. The detectives are still searching for a trunk with the body of Mrs. Heaydon or the carters who removed it from Coogee. (A. and N.Z. €able.) .Mrs. Heaydon arrived with her husband Alfred Ernest Heaydon, who had been a soldier in the Australian Im--I»rial Force, in Sydney during December, 1019. She is known to have left Manly last September to visit Nurse Hughes at Coogee, the police declare, in order to undergo an illegal operation, dying some days later. The police declare the bodyto have been removed in a cabin trunk —id placed on a small cart drawn by a tay horse. The body was (say the police) taken citywards and buried in a stable, shed or garage, probably at Surry Hills. Three people are in custody in connection with the .disappearance—the nusband, Nellie Cregan, and Philip Beilly.
