MEAT TRADE WITH EAST.
A MOPEFXTL. OUTLOOK.
SYDNEY, June 21. The chairman of the Australian Meat Council, addressing stock salesmen, emphasised that a hopeful outlook was developing for the export of meat to the East and South Africa, as shown in reports of delegates who paid visits there. He added that the only country they had to fear in regard to sheep and lambs in the British trade was Patagonia. Working with they could arrange to deal with gluts and so secure reasonable prices.— (A. and N.Z.)
