AMUNDSEN'S RETURN.
NOT WAITING FOR THE MAUD. CHRISTIAXIA, June 21. The newspaper "Aftenpost" states that Captain. .Amundsen is returning , to cfc-jlisation by the schooner Holmes. He does not intend to seek his schooner Maud, which is now in the pack ice drifting northwards.—(A. and N.Z. Cable.)
