Notice is hereby given that a Local Bill will he Introduced Into Parliament during the present session thercor under the title of "The Auckland Harbour Board anil Takapuna Borough Empowering Act. 1023." The objects of the said Bill are:— (a) To empower the Auckland Harbour Board to convey transfer or otherwise vest in the, Corporation of the Borough of Takapuna for a nominal consideration for an estate l;i fee simiiie subject n> tuc powers, encumbrances, restrictions Bill aud so that no riparian rights or rights of access by water shall attach to the In ml, a parcel of containing 1 rood aud 7 decimal 3 percht'M, being part of the soil of the Auckland Harbour and part of land reclaimed from the Sea by the Auckland Harbour Board, and comprised in the First Schedule to the BUI. (b) To empower the Corporation of the Borough of Takapuna to use such land as a site of and for the purposes of boatsheds and public swimming baths, HoWal hall, or for any similar or incidental purpose. but so that the said land or any buildings thereon shall not be used for private gain. (c) To empower the Corporation of the Borough of Takapuna subject to the conditions and restrictions prescribed by the Bill to convey, transfer, and grant absolutely or subject to such conditions, interests and restrictions as it may resolve or from time to time lease part of the said land containing 19.5 perches comprised in the second .Schedule to the HI!! lor any term of yeare at a peppercorn society of members not constituted for the purpose or private gain.

(d) To provide for the re-vesting of ouch land in the Auckland Harbour Board absolutely in the event of the land not being used by the Corporation of the Borough of Takapuna' or any body or person claiming through or under it for the purposes denned in the Bill. The abovpmentioned Bill will be Introduced into Parliament by or on behalf of the Corporation of the Borough of Takapuna. An Electoral Committee of twentyflve delegates shall elect the three producers' representatives. (b.) For the purpose of the election of the said twenty-five delegates the Board has divided New Zealand into Electoral Districts as under, and the number of delegates to be elected for each Electoral District is as shown herein: — Sheep District. No person may accept nomination as a delegate for more than one Electoral District. The form of nomination is obtainable upon application to the undersigned, by whom nominations will be received at the Board's Office up to Noon on the 18th July, 1923. Id.)
