Messrs. A. V. Shorter ami F. W. Millar i (of Wellington), are at the Grand Hotel. Mr. and Mrs. S. Barker, of Wellington, i are at present staying at the Grand Ilotel. Mr. and Mrs. T. A. Clark, of Shanghai,: China, arrived to-day by the Niagara, ! and are at the Grand Hotel. Mr. H. French, of Ford, Canada, arrived from Vancouver by the Niagara, this morning, and, is at the Ornnd Hotel. Mr. H. Rogers and Mr. G. S. Scott, of Wellinjrton, who are visiting Auck- ! land, are staying at the Central Hotel. I I Mr. and Mrs. Graham Campbell, of Toronto, who arrived at Auckland today by the mail steamer, are stopping at the Grand Hotel. Mr. and Mrs. David Carter were passengers by the Niagara this morning from i Honolulu where they have been spending I a pleasant holiday. I Mr. W. Garrett, of Messrs. Kidd and Garrett, who has been on a seven months' . ] trip to Kurope and America, returned this morning by the Vancouver steamer. ■ I Mr. Alfred S. Evans is leaving by tl.e i Niagara to-morrow on an extended busii I ness trip to Java and the East. Mr. i jEvana will be absent from New Zealand ! ' some months. ' I Messrs. J. S. Sinclair, of Dunedin, and 1 W. McKellar. and W. Wadwortli, of In- ' vercargill, who have been on a visit to Honolulu, returned by the Niagara today. They are all at the Grand Hotel. The Hon. D. Denham. formerly Premier of Queensland, Mrs. Denham and Miss Denham, who have been on a lon« visit to relations in Canada, are through I passengers by the Niagara for Sydney. ' Mr. F. D. Clark, formerly of Victoria, : 8.C., arrived in Auckland, accompanied by his family, to-day.
