OBITUARY.

MRS. R. BOWIE. A well-known and highly respected old resident at Thames died on June 21 at ie Te Aroha, at the age of 84 years. Mrs. a. Margaret Bowie was a native of Scotm land, and with her late husband came to :h New Zealand about half a century ago. Ie They went to Thames to reside, where Id Mr." Bowie died in 1907. Both were c- members of the Burns Club and of the -d Presbyterian Church. In her younger v. days Mrs. Margaret Bowie wa3 a good v, singer and dancer.
