New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Ltd., have received the following cablegram from their London house under date 18th Inst.: — Bawra Wool Sales.—Liverpool Bawra wool sales generally 5 per cent to 7* per cent lower than May 11. WAIHI RETURNS. The Waihi Gold Mining Company, during the 21 crushing days ended June 9, crushed and treated 10.358 tons of ore for a return of 5052 fine ounces of gold and 37,800 fine ounces of silver. In the corresponding ppriod of last year 14.485 tons were crushed and treated for a yield of 39450z of gold and 36,.=iSuoz of silver.
