Towns stating that articles have been signed for the world's sculling championship between Jas Paddon and Darcy Hadfield, to be rowed July 21st, on the Richmond River, over a course of three miles, the race to begin at 2.30. The second deposit of ,£2OO will be paid on June 30th, and the final deposit of £100 on July 14th, binding the match. The New Zealand party are very hopeful.
