Poloiiptt was running in second position along the hack, with Kingly third. In the straight Westerner challenged unsuccessfully, and Heather Kins drew away to win by two lengths, with three lengths separating second and third. Time. 2.1 3-u LADIES' BRACELET. One mile and a-half. Toa Taua, 11.0 (Mr. S. Howard) 1 Maunza, 10.7 - Complimentary. 10.7 a Also started: Mervotia 11.5, Silver Lad At the start Tna Taua took the lead, Complimentary next. Passing the stand Mauuga wad a length ahead with Complimentary next, Toa Taua following with Silver Lady last. This order was maintained till near the home bend when the three leaders were racing together, and in a good anish Toa Taua won by a neck, half a neck separating second and third. Time. 2.40. Mosthenes 0.0. Askarl and Civilform were the first out and the latter was in the lead entering the straight, with Kahikatea and Aakari next. Civilform, going nicely, won by half a length from Kahikatea, who beat Strategy by three lengths for second honours. Time> L 24 3-3. AVONDALE JOCKEY CLUB.
