KING'S BIRTHDAY HOLODAY.
SYDNEY, June 4. Though the weather was gloomy and threatening throughout the day, the King's Birthday enticed large numbers of people out ot doors. Over 40,000 attended the races, and 25,000 were present at a charitable carnival organised by the Rugby League.—A. and N.Z.
